Club Night 12/9/18
Welcome one and all to the blog. A relaxed evening with an unhurried feel about it. Everybody got a decent play and a few extras. Just out of interest I timed the acts from first chord to last.
Diamonfd Neil was in the graveyard slot this evening and gave us Time in a bottle by Jim Croce. 4:30.
Paul was next, usually performing in the arse end of the evening was promoted and gave us 'I who have nothing, Careless Whisper, and 'You're Beautiful' all delivered with lashings of energy and passion. 11:23

The Kiwi Crooner was next up for it and gave us 'Stuck on you', 'Can't help falling in Love', and One night with you. We had a little bit of Elvis impersonation going on as well.7:25
We had a long lost duo in the shape of Chris and Geoff, they were last with us when we were in the snug bar.. Chris also plays bass in Neil's band. They gave us, The Deportees, A River Runs between' and a trad song I didn't get the title of. Good stuff come back soon 13:00
Up came the Silver Fox with a guitar and not a brush and gave us 'I'll be there in the mornig', a John Prine song and 'No way to say goodbye'. Picked to perfection. 11:00

I remained on stage for a few songs which were: Airport Song, Please be with me and Cripple Creek Ferry. I didn't time myself. My theme was there was no connection with any of the songs.
A few more song were played to finish the evening.
