Club Night 19th Feb 20
Welcome to the Blog.
A tad low in numbers tonight but gave us all a few extra tunes and of course the banter was good. Lots of songs ewere played, so here's an overview:
Diamond Neil wes in the graveyard slot and gave us I'll br your baby tonight.
I followed up close behind with a blues and Lord Franklin.
On came Geoff with a bit of Jim Reeves and Nobody knows when you're down and out.
A full compliment of Sunrise gave us a very good version of Catch the wind and a bit of wrist slashing Leonard Cohen.
Up came the SilverFox who gave us a song called 'Looking Back' self penned by non other than GT. I'm told it can be heard on Sound Cloud. The fox also gave us Nancy Spain.
On came Paul with a marvelouse jacket and songs to match. It was a Smokey Robinson theme tonight so we had, Tears of a Clown and Tracks of my tears.
Electric Graham was in fine form and gave us Dave Berry's Cryning game and Sunshine of your smile.
GT was next with tonsil on the mend. We had listen to the rythm of the falling rain and Saltwater which I was informed was written by Julien Lennon.
On came The Pluto Swint Duo, Stefan was Opp North. We had Ticking over and Tulsa Time.
We all played a few more songs which was good fun and relaxed. Overall a good evening and we were able to sing Happy Birthday to Trevor, a long standing supporter of the club.
See you all in two weeks !
